Let's break down why?
Very simply,
The Why -- lies behind 4 main issues:
Slow/inadequate services to people
Right now millions of people are stuck on waitlists that extend on for months, if not years for basic support services
Avoidance to Open up to support
A challenge faced by many affected, to open up about their wellbeing which results in Mental Health worsening overtime.
Services being too expensive to afford
The average cost for Therapy ranges from £40 - £100 + an hour impacting almost 70% of people who need help
No 24/7 support at need
Wellbeing has a much higher risk of getting worse without constant support or active channels during distressful moments
And that's what many have failed to realise, thus:

Current solutions are not 24/7 and keep people in long waiting times
Solutions don't answer ways to break down Stigma and normalise Mental Health
